We offer diving safaris across South East Asia & the Pacific to destinations including Indonesia, the Philippines, Palau and Fiji. Whilst we add Galapagos to our hot list, Truk in June 2016 and French Polynesia in 2017!!

Office Administrator

Summary
The Office Administrator performs general reception and support duties and plays a key role in the daily running of the offices. The Office Administrator also supports the Office Manager in his/her duties. The Office Administrator reports to the Office Manager.

Job responsibilities

  • Performs all general reception duties (phone calls, post, etc.) while maintaining the reception area clean and tidy;
  • Orders and/or shops for all supplies needed for the running of the office as per the Office Manager’s instructions;
  • Pays the office bills and handles the office petty cash;
  • Supports senior Managers/Departments with general clerical and administrative duties, including sending and reception of parcels ;
  • Oversees and assists if needed in cleaning, repair and maintenance of the offices including preparation of monthly reports;
  • Other duties as assigned by the Office Manager in line with the position.

Skills, competencies and experience

Only candidates with the following skills and competencies will be considered:
  • Minimum intermediate level of English, spoken and written,
  • Attention to detail
  • Organisation skills
  • Vocational Certificate or above
  • Numeracy
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, email)
Candidates the following experience will be prefered:
  • 2 years experience working in an international environment.

Working conditions
Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00 with a 1-hour break.

HR & Training Officer

The HR & Training Officer is mainly responsible for the entire WWDAS training activity in collaboration with the Department Managers. The HR & Training Officer also supports the HR Manager in the administration of the HR and recruitment functions. The HR & Training Officer reports to the HR Manager.

Job responsibilities
Training duties :

  • Manages training in collaboration with the Department Managers, research new opportunities and administers existing training platform such as Grovo or Lynda;
  • Works with the department managers for writing training manuals required by the various departments;

HR admin duties :

  • Manages WWDAS HR Management System including supporting staff members in its use, keeping manuals updated, etc.;
  • Assist the HR Manager with the day to day running of the HR department including preparation of administrative documents, benefits administration, salaries calculation and reports;
  • Supports the local offices in the administration of their HR;

Recruitment duties :

  • Assist the HR manager in all recruitment related tasks.

Skills, competencies and experience

  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office and strong interest in new business applications;
  • Strong numeracy;
  • Excellent proficiency in English;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Strong planning abilities;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Candidates with previous experience in writing training manuals will be preferred.

Dive Liveaboard Cruise Director

Successful applicants must be able to troubleshoot in a remote location and will have the following attributes:-

  • Experienced Cruise Director/ Tour Leader on a dive Liveaboard (minimum 6 months)
  • Certified, renewed and insured PADI instructor
  • EANitrox Instructor
  • Tec-Diving Knowledge (Tec Diver preferred)
  • Gas-Blender - Nitrox & Tri-mix
  • 2 years+ diving in Siren Fleet destinations within SEA or the Pacific
  • Minimum 500 logged dives
  • Fluent English - additional languages prefered but not essential
  • STCW-95 certified
  • Non-smoker
  • Rebreather diving experience (preferred)
