Worldwide Dive and Sail Head Office

Based in Phuket, Thailand, the Worldwide Dive and Sail head office team manages all aspects of operations, reservations, accounting and marketing for all Worldwide Dive and Sail brands including the Siren Fleet. SALES AND MARKETING MANAGER
A new role is now available in the WWDAS head office for an experienced sales and marketing professional. Reporting tothe General Manager you would be responsible for leading the sales and marketing teams and establishing goals to determine performance for each of the WWDAS liveaboard brands. 

Successful applications would preferably have proven experience in the scuba diving industry within a similar role and meet the following criteria:--

  • Minimum 2 years marketing experience
  • Proven experience as part of a motivated sales team
  • Extensive experience in developing, maintaining and delivering on marketing and sales strategies to meet company objectives
  • Experience in copy writing and development of compnay promotional materials
  • Fluent English - additional languages prefered but not essential
  • Team leadership  and development skills, preferably with experience of different nationalities
  • Statistical analysis experience and budget planning

ASSISTANT ACCOUNTS MANAGER
Reporting to the Accounts Manager, your role will be to assist in the smooth running of a busy accounts department and co-ordinate with senior managers for financial reporting, along with working closely with our overseas operations. 

Successful applications should meet the following criteria:--

  • Degree in Business with an emphasis in accounting/ Diploma with 3 years of working experience will be considered
  • 2 years of working experience in a book-keeping position
  • Must have strong experience with Microsoft Office skills such as Excel and Word
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Must have a strong knowledge in different accounting system mainly Quickbooks
  • Excellent knowledge of book-keeping is essential
  • Knowledge of Thai tax laws is a plus
  • Thai National with a thorough knowledge of Thai laws will be considered as a strong advantage

OPERATIONS OFFICER
A new role is now available in the WWDAS head office operations team, working alongside the head of operations in support of our local operations teams and troubleshooting for each of the WWDAS liveaboard brands.

Successful applications would preferably have mechanical training / background and meet the following criteria:--

  • Certified, renewed and insured PADI instructor
  • Ability to troubleshoot and find solutions to numerous challenges within specified deadlines
  • Previous experience as Operations Manager for a dive centre or liveaboard
  • 2 years+ diving in Siren Fleet destinations within SEA or the Pacific
  • Minimum 500 logged dives
  • Fluent English - additional languages prefered but not essential
  • Ability to work independently in remore locations
  • Basic computing skills (Internet, email) + ability to learn company specific systems & processes
  • Non-smoker

DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING CO-ORDINATOR
Working alongside the Business Development Manager, your role will be to assist in the production of training materials and resources, keeping the company's HR records up to date and identify areas for compnay wide improvement in skills and training initiatives.

  • Ability to think laterally with a strong sense of initiative
  • Ability to understand the workings of different departments and focus on their individual requirements

IT PROGRAMMERS
We currently have two medium term contract vacancies, ending October 2014, for programmers to work as part of a team developing in house software systems. These positions would particularly suit diving-expats currently based in / around Phuket and looking for employment during the "low season".

Successful applicants will have a proven experience in PHP/MySQL, Eclipse and Git, whilst experience with development frameworks such as Code Igniter and Yii will be considered a definite asset. Must be highly motivated, organized and able to work with minimal supervision.
The successful candidates will work as part of our Phuket-based development team, with the possibility to work remotely for part of the time. On board the Siren Fleet yachts:-

We currently have a position available for a Cruise Director for our new liveaboard operation in Truk Lagoon. We commence trips in October 2014, however you would need to be available for a pre-training period from August 2014.

Dive Liveaboard Cruise Director

Successful applicants must be able to troubleshoot in a remote location and will have the following attributes:-

  • Experienced Cruise Director/ Tour Leader on a dive Liveaboard (minimum 6 months)
  • Certified, renewed and insured PADI instructor
  • EANitrox Instructor
  • Tec-Diving Knowledge (Tec Diver preferred)
  • Gas-Blender - Nitrox & Tri-mix
  • 2 years+ diving in Siren Fleet destinations within SEA or the Pacific
  • Minimum 500 logged dives
  • Fluent English - additional languages prefered but not essential
  • STCW-95 certified
  • Non-smoker
  • Rebreather diving experience (preferred)
